Humanities TV (H-Tv), an initiative from Missouri Humanities, is a curated collection of films, docu-series, and other digital storytelling projects to connect viewers with stories, people, and places rooted in the humanities. Learn more about Missouri Humanities at mohumanities.org
Our goal is to erase the stigma around the word "Humanities." H-Tv invites filmmakers to engage with an audience that is interested in the humanities, or interested in expanding their perception of the humanities.
What content should you submit? We welcome videos (single projects or multi-episode series) up to 90 minutes in length. Projects to consider submitting include, but are not limited to: short- and long-form documentaries, video podcasts, human interest features, interviews, and multi-episode series featuring humanities-based topics.
Missouri Humanities offers grant funding for nonprofit organizations based in Missouri. Applications are considered two times each year with the following deadlines:
Major Grant (Up to $15,000) applications accepted:
January 1-February 1
July 1-August 1
Minor Grant (Up to $5,000) application accepted
April 1-May 1
October 1-November 1
